Bliss Spa on Sale/Trish McEvoy Eye Base Essentials

I received an email from Bliss Spa that they are having a blowout sale on their site. If you haven’t used Bliss products yet, you are missing out. They have wonderful spa quality products, my favorite of which is probably their lemon and sage body butter (this product isn’t on sale, but loads of nice ones are). Bliss does have actual spas in major cities across the country, but I haven’t been fortunate enough to visit one of them yet. (A spa with a brownie bar – how cool does that sound? Forget the mineral water, hand me some chocolate!) This sale includes several items from their sleeping peel line and laboratoire remède products, plus clothing, jewelry, and other items. Here’s a coupon to entice you even further: save an additional 10% off the already reduced sale prices, just enter code 088920 at checkout. Bliss always sends a couple of great deluxe samples with every purchase. How great will you feel receiving that beautiful blue box from your UPS driver! (Sale ends August 24 at midnight EDT.)

And today I wanted to give a shout out to Trish McEvoy’s Eye Base Essentials. I’ve been on the search for the perfect pre-eyeshadow base (or, to be truthful, non-eyeshadow base – some days I just do not have the time for eyeshadow). I first tried Benefit’s Lemon-Aid, which is a great product: nice texture, goes on smooth, was easy to remove, but sadly it left me a teensy bit yellow if I chose not to wear shadow that day. So when I ran out of that and was ready to try something new, I next tried Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. I really wanted to like it (I received the full size for free, I didn’t want it to go to waste!), but it wasn’t a perfect fit for me. I tried it for a couple of weeks but for my taste it was a little too sticky and not quite so easy to remove. My next try was Trish McEvoy’s Eye Base Essentials in Bare. I’ve been using it every day for more than a week and so far I absolutely love it! A little goes a long way, it goes on easily, and if I feel like just using the base without any actual eyeshadow, it still makes my eyes a little prettier. Ok, the best part is, right now at neimanmarcus.com, with any Trish McEvoy purchase, you will receive a free deluxe sample of Trish McEvoy’s Eye Base Essentials in Bare. Try it, I hope you like it as much as I do!

UPDATE, I just received this email from Estee Lauder and had to share: for 24 hours only on esteelauder.com, receive 5 free deluxe samples with any purchase! Offer ends tomorrow, Friday, August 22nd, at exactly 12:00 noon, Eastern Time. This offer cannot be combined with any other Offer Code offer. Plus, you get free shipping if you spend over $50. Wow!
