Just a heads up about ordering from Lancome.com. Even before Covid-19 I frequently received my package from Lancome with items missing. But because their Customer Service is so good, they always sent the missing products whether they were ordered products or free samples, and I continued to order direct from the Lancome site.
Well, with everything happening with CV-19 things have gotten much worse! Twice in the last several weeks the product I ordered wasn’t in my package! The first time they refunded my card. The second time I have tried calling Lancome for the past three days and can’t get through. I have been holding for them for over 1 hour as I type this. I also sent an email to the email listed on the paperwork with my package and haven’t heard from them. Thankfully the product that wasn’t in my package this time was only $20 because they were having a sale. But I’m reluctant to order anything more for fear I will not get my money back if the product is missing and I can’t reach Customer Service.
Also, usually the items missing are small items that can be easily slipped into a pocket, so I worry that there is theft going on at their warehouse. This last time it was their new Mademoiselle Lip Balm that was missing from my package.
Has anyone else had problems like this with Lancome.com?

Hi Debbie,
Yes, unfortunately I have had similar experiences when shopping on Lancome.com. There would be items missing, not the correct items sent (different color of lipstick or eye palette than ordered). Most of the times their Customer Service was able to fix the issue but it would take some time (emailing and / or calling) to get things sorted. As much as I love Lancome products I try not to order from their website directly.

I finally got through after 1 hour 16 minutes on hold!🤪 As usual, the Customer Service Representative was wonderful and reordered my lip balm immediately. So I will wait and see if it arrives!😆 The last order took a week and a half to arrive.

I had not heard of this happening and I don’t regularly shop there so I haven’t experienced this! Do you guys think I should hold off promoting their offers or add some kind of warning or something?

I would still promote their offers, but with a warning. These problems aren’t because of Covid-19, they are on going. Their Customer Service is extremely good so I continue to order from them, and they have products that the department stores don’t carry.
It’s truely a bummer, because I love Lancome products. I lived in Memphis TN when I worked for Lancome 27 years ago, so I know that the Lancome warehouse is in a sketchy area, right on the border of TN & MS. I suspect theft of the missing products, and when I emailed Lancome I mentioned that.

I don’t think that you should stop promoting their offers but I do strongly advise others of issues if they order on Lancome.com. As Debbie said, usually the Customer Service reps can try and fix the mixup. On that note, I had one experience when despite ordering over $125 worth of items (which qualified me for a step up gift) – I never received the step up gift. Unfortunately by the time my order was sent and received, they run out of the step up gift and I did not receive it at all. The Customer Service reps were unable to help, even though I am, what they call, a Platinum Member of their loyalty program. So that was a big bummer… I’d rather shop at major retailers for Lancome than directly buy things from them.

I’ve had similar expereince with Lancome. Missing products and missing gwp. My suspision is the staff fulfilling the order are “careless”. I try to avoid ordering from teh Lancome website although I’m a regular user of their skin care products.

Thank you so much for replying!! And Maggie too!😃 I was afraid that I was the only one, but thought that would be ridiculous, surely this must be happening to more people because the Lancome Customer Service Center has such a huge number of calls.
Lancome Representatives have always tried to fix the problems and have always been very nice, so I continue to order from the Lancome site. Especially when I can’t find an item at the department store. I just don’t know if the information about the problems are getting to the fulfillment center. The Customer Service center is in TX, and the warehouse is in MS.

I advise against purchasing anything from Nordstroms right now. It has been an epic failure. Have a feeling I’m just going to be out $70 for an order I’ll never receive. Not GWPAddict’s fault at all and I’ll still stalk your page and use your links. Thanks! Just purchased through Von Maur!
Oh my gosh, what happened? I’ve never heard a complaint against Nordstrom! I know orders are shipping slowly right now but did something bad happen?
Ship time wasn’t that bad, I think 3 days for my order so I don’t see that as being that bad. The problem was my fault, I used paypal to pay (which was the first and last time I do that) and it didn’t put in my entire address, just number and city. I saw what happened as soon as the order went through and started to try to fix it. But you cannot reach them, I waited for a long time on the online chat several times (which is now disabled), there’s no good email I can find, tried emailing through paypal, and the wait time is over 2 hours last time I called. I’m not trashing Nordstrom at all, they just seem overwhelmed so I’m not going to be placing another order until things calm down. I think all online vendors are overwhelmed right now and everyone is doing their best.
I’m so sorry that happened to you, that sounds incredibly frustrating! I think you’re right, a lot of companies (heck, everyone) are really struggling right now. I do hope you get your issue resolved!!
Okay, I will totally eat my words on this one. The package showed up today, how they got my address I have no idea. It did have a ship label scotch-taped over the “bad” address so maybe a postal angel? It was missing the gwp but I’m not even upset as I got what I paid for. I know with Nordstrom the gwp is a gamble.

Unfortunately it has sold out (again). I am not sure if they will re-stock. It is still available at Dillard’s and I’m still holding out hope that some more stores will offer this soon!

The Clinique PWP Beauty in Bloom Summer Essentials set at Nordstrom is currently sold out. Do you know if they’ll be getting this one back in?

Unfortunately I don’t think they will restock. There is a tiny chance it may be offered again in the future but since it sold out before the official promotion end date, it is unlikely. I’m so sorry you missed that one!
I just checked and as of this morning the Estee Lauder GWP at Bloomingdale’s is still in stock, in the Resilience Lift version.
It looks like they restocked. I was given a choice at checkout and just placed my order.

It’s Sunday, March 8, 2020 and today is the first day the Estée Lauder GWP at Macy’s is available online. From my observation the step up gift of full size Revitalizing Supreme is not available. I know it’s a popular product, but I’m floored that on the first day it is already finished online. If they had a presale may be it was sold out then? Is it possible Revitalizing Supreme was never offered online as a step up gift?
Must be quick if anyone wants specific products in their GWP and step up!

Hi, what does it mean “full size” of Resilience cream at Macys, March 8th GWP over $80, please?
I believe it is a 1 oz cream. And that was sold out online but I just checked and it looks like it is back in stock online while supplies last!

I just looked and it is there? It won’t show up in your cart though until you enter one of the codes to choose your moisturizer.
I thought I’d mention that until Feb. 4th, Lord & Taylor is in Clinique gift. It’s similar to the one available from SAKS.

I just purchased yesterday and the GWP shows up when you search the Clinique products. I received a shipping confirmation which reflects the same GWP, which I believe is added upon qualifying purchase.
