I’m trying to decide whether to “go for” the Macy’s Estee Lauder GWP or to wait for another one. I’m getting ready to purchase the Advanced Night Repair so would love to qualify for a bonus! I’m just not 100% in love with the Macy’s option. Does anyone know when the next Estee Lauder GWP will appear after this one?
We will see more Estee Lauder GWPs but not until mid-March, at Von Maur and Bloomingdale’s, then later in March at Belk. I looked yesterday and can’t find any previews of any of them yet but they are coming!

I will never order from Macy’s again. Last fall I ordered some Lauder there because I liked their store’s particular promotion. First and last time to order Macy’s. I’ve never had a credit card hacked in my life. The day after that transaction, my credit card company called and said my card had been used clear across the country and in the Netherlands. I keep good records, so I could immediately tell them which charges were false and it was cleared up quickly, but there may be something wrong in that office. It happens, and I won’t take a chance again. The credit card company said the alarming transactions started right after I bought from Macy’s. I called Macy’s to talk to them about it and they were very unconcerned.
Oh, no, I’m so sorry that happened to you! I shop online at Macy’s all the time and have never had a problem; but I shop online a lot and have had my card compromised a few times now and unfortunately it’s hard to tell exactly where the problem came from. It is so very frustrating when that happens! But like I’m sure you do I keep excellent track of my purchases and have always been able to get my great bank to work with me to dispute the fraudulent charges. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to you again!
I’ve had problems with Macy’s ordering as well. Before Christmas I ordered about $125 worth of products. I was charged twice, received one correct order, and the duplicate order was missing items but reflected that the order was complete. Of course, it being Christmas and all, plus being sick and in pain from tumours and cancer, I haven’t been able to deal with it at a nearby Macy’s and I’m sure it’s too late. I couldn’t believe all the mistakes and will never order from or shop at Macy’s again (not even for a GWP!). Sorry that happened to you and I’m glad you could get it straightened out. Buyer beware, eh?
I’m sorry to hear you’ve also had problems shopping at Macy’s. And to hear about your health problems, you poor thing. I hope you are doing better!! Have you called Macy’s customer service about your incorrect orders? I have found them to always be gracious and very helpful over the phone.
What is the “repeat” GWP for Estée Lauder at Nordstrom?

If you click on the above Nordstrom link, you’ll see the Estee Lauder GWP (right now it is six free minis with any $35 purchase, but that can sell out or change at any time; they’ve been offering these a lot lately; not a “new” GWP but a bag and six minis, so not something I would featuring as NEW on the blog, but I’m sure people are still interested so that’s why I’ve listed it as a “repeat” GWP). There will be an Estee Lauder GWP at Macy’s towards the end of February, and the next Estee Lauder GWP at Nordstrom will be in early April. I hope that helps!

First – I love your site. I discovered it years ago, and it is my ‘go to’ place to check before buying makeup. I wanted to warn folks about something that happened to me using the Lancome website to order their recent bonus with my makeup. Evidently, if you add in another promo code too (free shipping, other free item, etc) they don’t sent you the bonus. But they don’t have any sort of warning on their site that will happen, so you see it in your cart but it doesn’t get sent. When I called, they explained the bonus was all gone, so I could return it to them or take my chances with the few items left. Anyway, I wanted to warn folks not to put extra codes in because it will remove a bonus without them knowing.
Oh no! I had no idea this was their policy! I will make sure to share that the next time they have a bonus; I’m so sorry you didn’t get yours 🙁
Yes, that happened to me about a year ago as well. At that time, I’d spent $75 to qualify for a really good bonus gift. I think I’d added a free shipping code (or something), and when the product arrived there was no gift. I too called them, but by then the bonus was sold out. I never order directly from their site, because $75 is a lot of money to spend on a SINGLE product. Most sites warn you about whether multiple codes are allowed. I learned my lesson.
Oh my goodness I am so sorry that this happened to you, too, I had no idea! I will make sure from now on to always include a note to not try to combine a code with a GWP from their site!!

Does the repeat Estee Lauder GWP at Nordstrom come with a bag?
I’m pretty sure it does not. If you’re looking for a bonus with a bag, there is the one at Neiman Marcus now, one coming to EL.com later this month, and then in early February at Dillard’s and Boscov’s. I hope that helps!
