Hope they figure it out Lisa. I too have an autoimmune issue and am constantly frustrated with the non definitive answers. Gotta keep telling myself that medicine is not a black and white science but it sure would be nice to hear something other than…more tests. Love your posts and will remain a loyal and patient reader!

So I have a small health update. And please note in advance, this is not a place to debate vaccine vs no vaccine, I’m just letting everyone know why my posts have been sparse lately. My health is never awesome, I have some chronic autoimmune issues and my immune system is not strong and mighty. Since covid hit I have been staying home as much as I can, staying as safe as I can. I live in the Houston area, which you may have seen has been hit particularly hard lately with covid cases and I thought, ok, I will finally get my first shot, even though I’m concerned about possible side effects, based on my health history. I received my first shot about 2 1/2 weeks ago and since then I’ve had very bad chest pain. I went to the ER and they ran a few tests and it wasn’t a heart attack, so I was sent home with instructions to follow up with my primary care physician. I did, and was told to take high doses of anti-inflammatories for a week and to call back if I was still in pain. Boy howdy am I still in pain, so finally this morning I saw a cardiologist. My symptoms do not match anything, yet (which unfortunately for me with my odd health, this happens all the time) so they are running some bloodwork and tomorrow I am getting a stress test and echocardiogram to try to see if they can figure out why I’m in so much pain. It hurts to sit and type for hours on end so that’s why I haven’t been posting as much or as often, lately. I really hope they can figure out what is going on, and I will update you guys as soon as I know more, but thank you all very much for sticking with me! I hope to be back up to speed soon!

So sorry:( this is why I don’t want any vaccine. I am avoiding people now in a way i wasn’t before because of that. I have some issues myself, and have heard enough to avoid it. So sorry 🙁 do what you can, not even sure what that would be. Take care of your health, don’t worry about anything that can cause you more problems:(
