I want you all to know I placed an order on Nordstrom’s web site on Wednesday August 4th for Clinique stuff which was 25% off that day for the anniversary sale. Yesterday I got notified the order was cancelled which is not right since I had plenty of $ available to cover it which they could see since they put a hold on my card. I contacted them this morning – had to do it at my work since am currently without a working computer or wi fi at home. The CSR had no explanation why said order was cancelled; he did do a replacement order for me at the same prices. He said I would get a refund for the first order (which was actually debited against my account this morning); I have yet to have seen that refund although they were quick to place a hold on my account for the replacement order. He did not respond to my request for a chat transcript – it never came but thankfully I was able to take screen shots and save them to a Word document. This surprised me this experience as Nordstrom has always had a very good reputation and before this experience I’ve always had positive interactions with them. I sure hope the order comes soon with no more issues and that I get a refund on the cancelled order soon as I would hate to have to file a dispute with my bank. Likewise I hope nothing goes wrong with a separate order placed yesterday (Thursday August 5th) for some MAC items at 25% off.
Oh no I’m so sorry that happened to you! You’re right, that is a very odd thing to happen at Nordstrom. I sure hope you get your credit soon and that you get your complete, accurate orders!
