2011 Holiday Blockbuster Preview

I went to my local mall today to do some sleuthing to see if I could get you guys some information about this year’s holiday blockbusters, and look what I found! These are not yet available for sale anywhere online but your local department store may be taking pre-orders (mine was). Thank you to all the helpful Sales Associates at Dillard’s (and please forgive the crummy scans). I will let you know as soon as I see these anywhere online (last year the first was Elizabeth Arden in late October, followed by Lancome in early November, then Estee Lauder in mid-November).

Lancome: This year’s Beauty Sensation beauty box is valued at over $300 and includes 13 full size products plus a black train case. You can buy this collection for $57.50 with any Lancome purchase (last year the price was $49.50 with any Lancome purchase and it came with 12 full size products). You can choose from either Pretty Plums or Beautiful Bronzes.

Elizabeth Arden: This year’s Beauty Treasures Holiday Color Collection is a $350 value that you can purchase for $45 with any $27.50 Elizabeth Arden purchase (last year the price was $42.50 with any $24.50 Elizabeth Arden purchase).

Estee Lauder: My local Estee Lauder counter did not yet have any information about this year’s blockbuster (though the SA I spoke with did tell me they are doing another Coach fragrance PWP, I hope she is right) but I found this on the Estee Lauder Malaysia Facebook page. (You can also see a nice write up with more photos on the blog.) No US pricing information is yet available.

Update: This is now available online at Sephora and Bloomingdale’s for $25. I also saw this adorable little set at the Clinique counter, I have not yet seen it for sale online anywhere but I am sure it is coming soon (I found this photo on a UK site). The Mix It Up Lip set includes four mini lip glosses, two mini lipsticks, a keychain, and a tiny pink cosmetic bag (sorry, I forgot to look at the price).

Also at Dillard’s I saw that they have an in store only Shiseido gift with purchase (the same one I posted about yesterday at Macy’s but with a pink bag, not a plum/burgundy bag).
