My regular readers know how much I love beauty sampling programs, and I am always on the lookout for new offers. I recently came across a program called GoGogirlfriend. I signed up on August 20 but delayed writing about it until I received my first box. This is what I received a few days ago in my welcome box:

  • Weleda Pomegranate Regenerating Body Care Kit (Body Oil 0.32 oz, Hand Cream 0.3 oz, and Body Wash 0.72 oz)
  • H2O Plus Face Oasis Oil Free Cleansing Water (2 oz)
  • Tarte deluxe mini lip gloss
  • ELF full size lip gloss
  • Aubrey Organics Vegecol Alcohol-free Facial Toner for Sensitive Skin (1 oz)
  • Nature’s Gate Pomegranate Sunflower Moisturizing Lotion (0.34 oz)
  • Earth Therapeutics Clari-T Clarifying Tea Tree Pore Cleansing Strip
  • Healthy Indulgence Daily Wellness Dark Cocolate Multi-vitamin
  • Easy Peeling New Face Effect Towelette
  • Gogogirlfriend brand Facial Cleansing Cloth Towel

GoGogirlfriend states that they offer “brand name trial or full size samples of health, beauty and home products” for you to try. I am certainly pleased with my welcome kit and look forward to my next box. (In case you are curious: I am not affiliated with them or with any other sampling program. I pay my membership fee just like you guys and hope I like what I get! If you sign up through my link for GoGogirlfriend, though, I will earn “points” to spend on products in their store.) They have two membership options: You can pay $13.98 every two months and they will send you a box every other month, or you can pay $12.99 each month for Premium Membership and you will receive a new box each month. Visit their site for complete details and to sign up. Interested in other beauty sampling programs? Others that I am aware of (listed in my order of preference): New Beauty Test Tube ($29.95 plus shipping quarterly), Birchbox ($10 monthly), and Beautyfix by Dermstore ($49.99 quarterly).

  1. Thank you for the heads-up on GoGo Girlfriend. I signed up last night using your link. I currently also subscribe to Birchbox and New Beauty, but at only $12.99 a month I am really excited about GoGo. Thanks again!

  2. I registered through your link last night , but didn’t sign up for the sampling until this morning. I just wanted to make sure you got the credit points ……never would have heard of them w/out your post.

  3. I signed up to for go go girlfriend thank you I want them all but bills to pay do you think beUty fix is worth it thanks oh I got every month thanks muah

    1. I hope you like the gogogirlfriend program! Beautyfix is worth it if you like getting mostly full sizes of new products to try. It is the most expensive of the sampling programs but they usually include full sizes so it is worth the extra expense if that is what you are looking for. If you want to stock your beauty cabinet and try new things this is a great program; plus you get to choose what products are included in your kit so for those who like a bit more control over what they receive this is the way to go. Myself I like the surprise aspect of both Birchbox and the Test Tube, I like not knowing what I am going to get. And as crazy as it sounds I prefer deluxe sample sizes to full sizes, then if I don’t care for the product I don’t feel bad not using the whole thing as I do if it is a full size product and it doesn’t work for me.

  4. Someone asked me what the difference is between the “regular” test tube and the QVC test tube. Here is my reply: The primary difference between the Test Tube and the QVC Test Tube is the included brands. QVC tubes offer a mix of mainstream brands plus brands that are popular with QVC customers. The “regular” test tube offers products of brands from products you see on web sites like Spalook or Skinstore. Both tubes include the magazine and a generous mix of products, it just depends on what you are looking to try.

Myself, I like trying new things and have been a “regular” test tube subscriber for years. They are primarily deluxe sample size with an occasional full size thrown in, sometimes even Estee Lauder and Lancome products deluxe samples, too. Plus you get a gift card good for $20 off $100 at Spalook.com. I have purchased a couple of the QVC tubes in the past but I am not on auto delivery because with the QVC tube, you can find out in advance which products will be included and can opt to get the kit if you like it or not get the kit if you don’t. The “regular” test tube there is no option, it is always mystery products, but I have yet to be disappointed.

Also for Canadian readers there is a program you can try at LooseButton.com, and for “green” beauty samples you can try EcoEmi.com (thanks to helpful readers for those recommendations!).

  5. Just signed up for the gogogirlfriend (you’ll be getting the referral credit soon!)
Have you ever looked at ecoemi? It’s another sampler program and all eco friendly.

    1. I have heard of Eco Emi, I recently ordered a one time sample box from them, and the products were nice but I’m more a mainstream gal so I opted not to join (plus right now you have to get on waiting list in order to sign up, so if anyone is at all interested they should sign up on the waiting list for sure). I hope you like your gogogirlfriend box!

  6. I love sampling programs too! The only 2 I was aware of were Birchbox and, recently, QFC’s TestTube (thanks to you). I just signed up for Beautyfix and wanted to let your readers know that the BFIX5 code for $30 off your first order is still working.

I’m thinking about signing up for the GoGoGirlfriend one. Thanks for telling us about it!
