Hi, I just wanted to say first off that I love your website and hope you are feeling better…read something that you were taking a couple days off blogging awhile ago for medical reasons. I actually got an e-mail and phone message from Dillard’s saying that I couldn’t pick the same item 4 times (was trying to order the lipstick, Old Flame, in a quantity of 4). My order was on-line and I had to change my order to choose only 1 of each item listed. If I didn’t call Dillard’s back in 2 business days, my GWP was going to be taken off my order! Just wanted everyone to be aware. Thanks!

I am finally feeling more like my old self but its been a week and a half and I didn’t think it would take me this long to get back in the swing of things. I feel weird putting personal stuff in my blog because I know that’s not why people read it, but because of the whole October BCA thing I’m being bombarded with this stuff so I’ll share, even if its here in a comment… I had a lump in my breast and had it removed via open biopsy. (Not fun!) Thankfully the results came back negative but I found out I have Fribrocystic Breast Disease which I’m now trying to figure out how to treat (there is of course no easy fix or cure).
I’ll update the blog to reflect the “no more than one” online info, thank you for sharing your experience with everyone else. I’m glad they got a hold of you so you in fact will get your gwp!
I got the Lancome GWP at Dillard’s today, but since I pre-ordered it on Saturday, I received a few extra lipsticks, mascaras, and eyeshadows. It’s a really great deal. I love the makeup, and don’t care for the skincare items, so usually GWPs aren’t worth it for me. But in this case, I was able to get all makeup. I bought two full-size eyeshadows and wound up with a load of goodies.
Meanwhile, I overheard the sales ladies at the Lancome counter talking about how one customer had just gotten six containers of the replenishing cream as her bonus, and they thought it added up to over $100 worth of product.
Wow, awesome score!! I always buy my stuff online so I don’t know if the SA’s around here give out extra goodies, it sounds like you have a nice one. And I was curious if in-store you could pick more than one of each item. Is it like that everywhere with these choose-your-own GWPs?
