Stila was kind enough recently to send me two beautiful limited edition Beauty Boxes to review for you guys (plus they gave us an exclusive coupon you can use if you decide to purchase!). I have used these products every day this week and I have to tell you, I am enjoying them immensely. Each box contains three full size products, and here is my review of each product:

  • One Step Correct Skin Tone Correcting & Brightening Serum/Primer ($36 value): This was my absolute favorite product from these two boxes. I am not a foundation wearer, but I do have uneven skin tone and large pores and wear pressed powder every day. I absolutely loved the way this made my skin look (and the texture is perfect, it just glides on to your skin), it helped my powder stay on all day (with just one blot on the nose mid-day, as opposed to several blots a day as I’ve been used to doing). This one is recommended and an absolute keeper
  • Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Intense Black ($22 value): I have a confession: I’ve never used a liquid eye liner before. And I haven’t worn black eye liner in about 20 years. It took me a couple of days to get the hang of this but now I love this product! It made my eyes look huge and beautiful, is easy to apply (with just a little bit of practice), and once on, it didn’t budge all day. I don’t know that when I run out I would re-purchase the Black color (it’s a little too startling on my pale skin for daily wear) but I definitely have my eye on the Alloy (charcoal) shade to pick up next!
  • Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso/True Red ($24 value): This was the hardest product for me to use. Not because of the product, which was easy to apply, stayed put, and didn’t feather or smudge; but because of the color! Stila says this is their best selling color and wow is it red! Definitely too bright for my pale skin. But I’m saving this for our annual holiday party, this shade will be perfect and I know I’ll be able to wear it through drinks and dinner without it fading away
  • Huge Extreme Lash Mascara ($23 value): This was another great discovery for me. I love big, bold lashes, and this product delivers exactly that. It took me a couple of tries to get used to the new style of brush but by the second day I was a pro. I had huge yet separated eyelashes (most of my other favorite mascaras I get huge OR separated, not both, so this was a treat). This formula does not smudge, and was easy to remove with my bi-phase eye makeup remover. This one is a re-buy for sure
  • Got Inked Cushion Eye Liner in Smoky Quartz Ink ($28 value) and La Quill Precision Eye Liner Brush ($32 value): I completely loved the color of this one, a charcoal with shimmer that made my eyes look absolutely beautiful (several people told me this, so it has to be true, right?). You sort of smush the brush onto the cushion and somehow just the right amount of product gets on the brush to perfectly line your eyes. The brush did take me some getting used to, especially on the lower lashline, but probably because I’m such a noob at this sort of thing. Again by the second day I had no trouble applying this one, and the color was a huge hit for sure!
