The nice folks at REN Skincare were kind enough recently to send me the Pure Glow Trio to review for you guys. This three piece set is a $79 value that sells for $54 everywhere, but REN currently has it on sale for just $39. Here is my breakdown/review of this set:
- Rosa Centifolia No. 1 Purity Cleansing Balm (100 ml, $32 value): This is one of those cleansers that you rub onto dry skin, add a bit of water, rub around some more, and all of your makeup magically comes off. And yes, it does all magically come off. This is a great cleanser, the rose scent is certainly noticeable but it goes away as soon as you rinse your now shiny clean face. I do love the effects of this cleanser but the rose scent is a bit strong for me. I love how great it is at removing all of my makeup though!
- Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial (40 ml, $25 value): This is a fun product to use. You apply to dry skin with dry hands and it’s a little chunky, like an exfoliating cleanser (and I thought oh no, how will I rinse this off at the sink? I hate rinsing off chunky cleansers at the sink). But then you get your fingertips wet, rub all over your face, and the little grains instantly dissolve. Huzzah! One minute later, you rinse, and voila, glowing skin. I really love this product and will be buying more when I run out
- Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask (20 ml, $22 value): This is by far my favorite item in this trio. Apply to clean skin, wait ten minutes, rinse off, have perfectly glowing, incredibly soft skin. I sample a LOT of masks and this one is now one of my very favorites; in fact, I purchased more today and used the below coupon (free full size serum! Awesome deal!). This mask feels great, it smells great, and it works wonderfully. Highly recommended!
- This set also comes with a little muslim cloth. They do recommend using it when you rinse off the products, but I confess, I did not. It just feels like one more thing to rinse and dry somewhere near my sink and in my experience all of the products rinsed off just fine without it
