Got my Allure box today, very happy with the contents and how quickly it got to me. The only compaint I have is that the nail polish colors are all different from what they’re supposed to be…but they did put a disclaimer saying colors might vary. I’m just disappointed because the ones in the pictures are so much prettier than what I got!

I’m waiting to make a Lancome purchase. Do you know what I should look out for for the best gwp opportunity (like for example wait until Black Friday for the best deal)? Or which store to buy from (such as Macy’s is better than directly from Lancome)? Do you remember the best one you’ve seen so far?

Regarding your Lancome question, right now is a pretty good time to buy, there are currently four bonuses available but my favorite is the one direct from Lancome, I love that cute iPad case (and I don’t even have an iPad – I use cases like that for storing misc. electronics chargers when I travel and many other uses). Lancome does not really offer anything on Black Friday, though they do have a Friends and Family sale once a year (20% off) I believe between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and you do get the discount but you don’t get any freebies. And call me crazy but I’d rather have freebies than a discount! As for the “best” one I think it just depends on which freebies you like, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom often have the “nicest” gifts but it just depends on what products you like and what you consider a good bonus.
