I was VERY disappointed with my blush.com mystery beauty box. I only received 5 pairs of the foot petals (retail value) $35. When I asked if I could return the package they just said no and that it was discontinued. This is terrible. I thought I was getting $200+ worth of hair and makeup products. Instead it was a total rip off.
Wow, that is terrible. I’m PMing you. I also emailed their affiliate customer service to ask why this happened to you, I have shopped there for years and never had a problem, but I am shocked by their lack of response on this.
This is what I received: Smart Lash Eyelash Enhancer ($125 value), Cattiva Mascara ($24 value), Skindinavia Makeup Finishing Spray ($20 value; but this is in the old packaging and I suspect is older, I got one of these in my first BeautyFix boxes a couple of years ago!), Hera Argan Oil ($9 value), Foot Petals Tip Toes in Black ($7 value), Perricone MD Vitamin C Ester 15 ($15 value), SkinMedica Lyterra Skin Brightening Complex ($16 value), and yet another Dermstore brand Lip Quench (this is the Free Mystery Gift you usually get, I have at least 4 of these). Total value by my calculation (not counting the Lip Quench) is $216. I’m mostly pleased I have been wanting to try that mascara since seeing it on Little Black Bag. Not sure if I will get the next one though.
Have you received your box yet? I just got mine and am extremely disappointed. I think they literally forgot to put stuff in it! There are only 4 items worth about $100. Eager to hear what you got.
I did get mine and I haven’t added the value yet but it was a bunch of stuff; if I were you I would absolutely call customer service and complain that it wasn’t the stated $224 value (like the above commenter), they are pretty good about trying to make customers happy. I will post what I got as soon as I finish today’s post.
I received my “Mystery Box” yesterday. What I actually got was a 0.5oz Hera argan oil sample, and a DermStore lip treatment sample and one foil packette sample. Estimate value under $20, for sure! I called the customer service number and they immediately offered an apology and a virtual gift card refunding the purchase. Apparently they oversold and didn’t cut off taking orders. Nor did they put a note to that effect in the package, so maybe they are hoping some buyers won’t complain!
